Donation Pick Up
Thank you for choosing CLT as the nonprofit to receive your generous donations. By donating to CLT, you are empowering change in your local community.
To best serve you, we have a few guidelines to ensure the safety and success of our pick ups.
Pick up requests are for two or more large items. If you have bags of clothing or other small in size donations, please drop them off at the shop during our donation hours (Tues to Sat 9 AM - 2 PM).
As with in-store donations, CLT can only accept new or gently used items. Donations must not be broken, stained, smelly, damaged, recalled, or otherwise unsellable.
Items that CLT specifically cannot pickup include: entertainment centers, particle board furniture, unassembled furniture, sleeper sofas, pianos, mattresses, box springs, and outdated training equipment.
Donations must be located either in a garage or just inside front door on the first floor. For safety reasons, volunteers and staff are not allowed to enter further into a house or climb any stairs.
CLT can only pick up donations within Fayette and Coweta counties.
Please allow for 24 business hours for a response to your pick up request.
Scheduling a furniture pick up is not a guarantee of item removal. Our staff reserves the right to decide what items to take and what items to leave during the course of the pick up.
