Clothes Less Traveled Awards Grant to Fayette Senior Services
Fayette
Senior Services (FSS) received a $10,000 grant award from Clothes Less Traveled,
a not-for-profit thrift shop. The funds are in support of FSS’s Meals On Wheels
and Transportation programs. FSS delivers nearly 40,000 Meals On Wheels annually
to hundreds of Fayette’s seniors. The non-profit, 501.c.3 organization also this
past year provided more than 15,000 transportation trips (included wheelchair
assistance) to help seniors get to medical appointments, dialysis clinics,
rehab, pharmacies, and other essential destinations.
